Whether you are a beginning actor or already have some experience under your belt, scene study classes are a great way to sharpen your skills as an actor. We'll take a look at how to approach scene work, from beginning scene analysis, to building the character and connecting to the emotions of the part, and then finally putting it into performance. Students will take a specific scene from a movie, television, or play and work on it in front of the acting instructor and fellow students in the class. The acting teacher will assign scene partners and scenes to the students. However, if there is a specific scene the student would like to work on, they are encouraged to bring it and share that with the instructor on the first day of class.

You will learn not only the basics of slating, commercial, and TV/film auditioning, but also get to practice in front of the camera and view your work. Getting used to seeing yourself and your work on camera is a vital part of learning the business. This is a small, first come, first serve workshop. Maximum of 6 people.
